Dr. Melissa Marbach
Dr. Melissa Marbach is a native Texan who grew up in San Antonio. Dr. Marbach completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and then graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she practiced in Austin, Texas for one year and then moved back home. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the San Antonio area for the past 17 years.
She started working at Spring Creek Animal Hospital as a relief veterinarian in June 2021 and signed on as a full time associate veterinarian in January 2022. She chose Spring Creek Animal Hospital for the quality of medicine provided to the patients and the wonderful staff, which is more like a work family.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Marbach keeps busy with her husband of 18 years and two young children in school and sports. The running family joke is that if you are looking for her, you can find her at work, the kid’s school or at the grocery store! She enjoys spending time with family and friends, running after her kids and pets and spending any free time outdoors. She currently has one golden retriever named Maggie and one grumpy cat named Snickers.
Her medical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, whole body wellness care and ultrasound. She loves that medicine means constant learning and enjoys pursuing as many continuing education hours as possible. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the privilege of working with families to take care of their four legged family members.
