Dr. Angie Pacheco

Dr. Angie Pacheco (Medical Director)

Dr. Angie Pacheco was born and raised in Colorado and received her B.S. in microbiology in 1992 from Colorado State University. She worked in the biotechnology field for three years at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and at the immunology research company, Supragen, prior to attending veterinary school.

She graduated from the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduation she worked as a small animal associate veterinarian in Phoenix, Arizona and in Aurora, Colorado.

She met her future husband, Michael Pacheco, in 2003 while working in Phoenix and moved to San Antonio in 2005. They celebrated the birth of their daughter, Tricia, in October 2011.

Dr. Pacheco began working at Spring Creek Animal Hospital in 2007. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special fondness for soft tissue surgery, dentistry and dermatology. Dr. Pacheco loves being part of the family at Spring Creek Animal Hospital and is excited to take on her new role as medical director as of April 1, 2022.

Her family of fur babies includes two rescued boxers, Bucky and Munchkin, one cat, Michael, and two guinea pigs, Chocolate and Chip. They have lived in Schertz since December of 2016 and are blessed to live in a quiet community surrounded by fields and farmland. The family enjoys their time supporting Tricia at swim practices and competitions, watching movies and enjoying nature whenever possible.
